The Holy Bible

It has been a long time dream of mine to have a website that used art to go alongside the verses in the bible. Being dyslexic I found it hard to read the bible but seeing the images artists have created to depict the various bible stories helped me to gain a better understanding of the bible. My hope is that by using the site you gain a better apprecation of God's word through art. It is not meant to take the place of God's word far from it, but, by adding the paintings a greater understanding may be learnt by placing the characters in a topical setting.
the quotes are taken from the King James Bible unless otherwise stated and you will find various links down the right hand site of the page if you want to find related images or other places where the subject is mentioned in the bible. For example, the annunciation is in two different book in the bible and there are many images of the annunciation so I have used two for the bible passages and the rest I have found are on a seperate page which is linked on the right hand side of the page.
It is arranged as the bible is by book and by chapter then the relevant verse with the image.
